Hi there! I’m Rachel, a Niagara-based event planner, community builder, and the founder of The Event Collective. With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve had the privilege of creating experiences that bring people together, whether it’s through intimate socials, speaker series, retreats or large-scale conferences.

Born and raised in St. Catharines, I’ve always been passionate about connection. My background includes working with some of Niagara’s most well-known venues, wineries, and organizations, and those experiences shaped how I approach events today: with creativity, attention to detail and a drive to make every gathering feel meaningful.

Through The Event Collective and Her Story Uncorked, I’ve built a community where women in business and entrepreneurship come together to share their stories, grow their networks and feel supported. For me, events are never just about logistics, they’re about creating space for people to feel seen, inspired and part of something bigger.

Outside of planning, you’ll usually find me exploring Niagara with my dog, Gypsy, enjoying a glass of wine or discovering local gems to share with my community.

At my core, I believe in the power of bringing people together. Whether through storytelling, collaboration or celebration, my goal is always to create unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impact.
